Air Canada – Embraer 190-100 – Engine Warnings

Incident Date: 2018-03-14

C-FMZB, an Embraer 190-100 aircraft operated by Air Canada was conducting flight ACA167 from
Toronto/Lester B. Pearson Intl., ON (CYYZ) to Edmonton Intl., AB (CYEG) with 4 crew members
and 66 passengers on board. During descent from cruising altitude inbound to CYEG, the flight
crew observed several engine indicating and crew alerting system (EICAS) warnings. The flight
crew declared a PAN PAN emergency, and continued to CYEG where the aircraft landed without
further incident.

The operator’s maintenance replaced the Actuator Input/Output Processor module.
