WestJet has signed a deal with Pacific Coastal Airlines to supply regional airline service between several smaller B.C. and Alberta communities and its Calgary Hub. Pacific Coastal Saab 340s, operating as WestJet Link and painted in WestJet colours, will feed the main line from Lethbridge, Lloydminster and Medicine Hat in Alberta and Cranbrook and Prince George in B.C.
The Saabs have 34 seats and Pacific Coastal also has 30-seat versions as well as Beech 1900s going to 15 destinations under its own colours. Pacific Coastal also does charters and offers seaplane service through Wilderness Seaplanes.
