The Canadian Owners and Pilots Association is holding its annual convention and trade show in Saint John, New Brunswick through Saturday. Hundreds of delegates are attending the event at the local convention centre in downtown Saint John. A trade show featuring vendors from various government organizations and companies is also being held.
Among the topics of the seminars being held throughout the event are sessions on maintenance, epic flights like Wings for Hope and Canada 150 helicopter circumnavigation and there is a general emphasis on safety. There are various social events going on and Saturday is Family Day at the local airport, featuring static displays of local and visiting aircraft.
