WestJet-C-FUJR, a Boeing 737-800-Runway Overrun

C-FUJR, a Boeing 737-800 aircraft operated by WestJet, was conducting flight WJA248 from Toronto/Lester B. Pearson Intl (CYYZ), ON to Halifax Stanfield Intl (CYHZ), NS with 172 passengers and 6 crew. During the landing on Runway 14, the aircraft overran the end of the
runway and came to a stop approximately 250 feet from the end of the runway. There were no injuries and no damage to the aircraft. The tires and brakes were replaced as a precaution and the aircraft was returned to service. The TSB deployed investigators to the site.
