Drake Explains Short Flight

Canadian Pop megastar Drake gave his millions of followers a little lesson in business jet management after the Twitter account CelebJets outed him for a 14-minute flight by his private jet. Granted, one of Drake’s rides is a Boeing 767 but it’s not clear if that was the aircraft villified. The hop in question, from Pearson to nearby Hamilton was a repositioning flight. “This is just them moving planes to whatever airport they are being stored at for anyone who was interested in the logistics… nobody takes that flight,” Drake tweeted
CelebJets has flagged several short flights by aircraft used by celebrities in recent weeks and they could be a classic case of information without context. Flight trackers will pick up any aircraft movement but there’s no indication of who’s on board. Kylie Jenner, Kim Kardashian and Kenny Chesney have all been criticized for flights of 20 minutes or less by aircraft associated to them picked up by flight trackers.
