For the twelfth consecutive year, Nova Scotia’s Chorus Aviation-owned Jazz Aviation has been named the top employer in both Atlantic Canada and Nova Scotia by Mediacorp Canada Inc.
“We’re proud of our long history in this region and being an employer of choice for Nova Scotians and Atlantic Canadians,” Jazz president Randolph deGooyer said in a press release. “We’re very honoured to be recognized for providing a safe and inclusive work environment where employees have the tools they need to succeed.”
Mediacorp is a Toronto-based organization that specializes in ranking top employers at the national, provincial and regional levels and publishing their findings on an annual basis.
Criteria used by Mediacorp to judge the companies that enter the competition include work atmosphere and social; health, financial and family benefits; vacation and time off; employee communications; performance management; training and skills development and community involvement.
