There is an information centre attached to the site which again is a great visit if you’re interested in the local history, complete with a video.
We found out that the beer store was closed on Monday when we asked (someone needed supplies), one of the kind ladies behind the counter, said “Take my truck” and go to Liaird North, 10 km up the highway and you can have a nice lunch and pick up some “off sales” – so we did!
