Aug. 9/14-The float-equipped Cessna 150K, registration C-FAQS, was on a local flight about 12 nautical miles west of La Minerve, QC with only the pilot on board. The pilot was doing steep turns at low altitude near the residence of a friend when an incipient spin occurred. The aircraft crashed in the forest and was destroyed by the force of the impact, but there was no post-impact fire. The pilot sustained fatal injuries.
