Getting an Education

Nov. 11/14-The Mount Royal University Cessna 172R, C-GTBF, was being flown by a student (PPL holder) in the commercial pilot program. The student was performing multiple circuits at the Calgary/Springbank Airport (CYBW) on Runway 26. During landing, the aircraft began to porpoise multiple times resulting in a prop strike and tail strike. The pilot, who was the sole occupant, was uninjured.
