By Canadian Pilots, For Canadian Pilots
Canadian Aviator is Canada’s independently owned magazine for pilots, future pilots and those interested in Canadian aviation. It is edited and published by Steve Drinkwater.
Canada has a vibrant aviation industry, and we cover it from coast to coast, featuring the people, businesses and aircraft that make our country a world leader in aviation. Every story that appears in our magazine has a Canadian connection and, with that focus, our readership is steadily growing. Canadian Aviators clearly want a truly Canadian aviation magazine.
We are heavily involved in the Canadian aviation industry and sponsor various events and educational opportunities. Have a proposal? Contact the publisher.
We’ve significantly boosted our online presence and have begun issuing a weekly newsletter that contains only stories about Canadian aviation, and an Instagram account that brings you highlights from recent issues.
In each issue of the magazine, we publish about a dozen columns that are written by some of Canada’s top experts in everything from meteorology to flight training. Be sure to follow a couple of our newest columnists, Luke Penner, a champion aerobatics pilot and Ed McDonald, an IFR expert who designs instrument approaches.
We wouldn’t be able to do any of this without the generous support of our advertisers and the continued patronage by our thousands of readers. Stay in touch with us as we build a truly Canadian community of aviators.
We’re looking for reader submissions of videos and aerial photos of airports as we build a comprehensive illustrated guide to Canadian airports.
