Message:It was such an exciting and unforgettable feeling being alone for the first time! It was great to see that all the studying and many hours of flying had given me the confidence to be PIC for the very first time.
Luckily it was a perfect day to fly with a headwind right down the runway. The moment I touched down, the air traffic controller said “Congratulations on your first solo”, those words made me feel so proud and happy!
I am excited and enthusiastic to continue my flight training towards my goal of flying commercial in the near future.
Thank you to Island Air Flight School and especially my instructor, Jordan Tucci, for preparing me and encouraging to study as much as I did!
