Canada’s Aviation Hall of Fame has cancelled this year’s induction ceremony and gala dinner event due to ongoing pandemic restrictions. The annual event is usually held in June each year. The 2020 inductees will instead be inducted in 2022, along with the 2021 inductees.
The 2020 inductees include Chorus Aviation CEO Joseph Randell, historian and author Shirley Render, the late RCAF Air Vice-Marshall Clifford McEwen, retired astronaut Bjarni Tryggvason and ‘Red Knight’, the RCAF solo demonstration aircraft that performed alongside the Golden Hawks and Golden Centennaires between 1958 and 1969.
