Baggage Cart Takes Out Beech 1900 Engines

Oct. 10/13-The Wasaya Airways Beech 1900D aircraft, registration C-FWAX was standing on the ramp with the engines running. A strong gust of wind blew a baggage cart into the right propeller of the aircraft, and the cart was then flung underneath the fuselage and into the path of the left propeller. The engines were immediately shut down. Both propellers and engine power sections sustained substantial damage. There were no injuries.
