May 29/13-The Aurora Helicopters Ltd. (dba Wood Buffalo Helicopters) Bell 206B, C-FZWB, was performing wildlife observation operations approximately 75 nm north of Ft. McMurray airport (CYMM). The helicopter collided with terrain resulting in substantial damage. The pilot and one passenger were fatally injured; a second passenger received serious injuries. The TSB Edmonton office is deploying investigators to the scene.
