Miccar Aerial – Piper PA-25-235 – Aircraft Severed Power Line

C-GRSP, a Piper PA-25-235 aircraft operated by Miccar Aerial, was engaged in agricultural aerial application, 18 nm North East of Preeceville, SK (CJK9). During a spray pass, the aircraft contacted and severed a newly erected power line that serviced a nearby property. The pilot was able to maintain control and flew the aircraft to Yorkton Muni, SK (CYQV) for inspection. There were no injuries, however the aircraft sustained damage to the propeller and the leading edge of the left wing. The operator informed SaskPower of the incident.
