Comment:Obviously the first solo flight is a huge step in flight training, and especially on the Air Cadet Power Pilot Scholarship wanting to have the bragging rights of going solo is important too. My flight started when me and my instructor taxied back to the apron and as I went to undo my straps, he told me to stay in. He asked if I wanted to go solo, and I eagerly said yes. He turned the aircraft around and then I went through my checks and off I went. I won’t ever forget my first solo, and I’d like to thank all the people who helped me get this far. Thanks Mr. Gauci!
