Pilot Killed in Lloydminster Crash

Dec. 14/13-The privately registered Cessna P210N, C-FCPK, was departing Lloydminster, AB (CYLL) on an IFR flight for High River, AB (CEN4). Shortly after departure, the aircraft collided with terrain 1.6 nm northeast of CYLL. The aircraft tumbled and slid into a residential home causing some damage to the home. No occupants of the home were injured. The pilot, who was the sole occupant of the aircraft, was fatally injured. There was a small post impact fire that was extinguished by first responders.
