Reservoir Landing

Aug. 12/14-The private de Havilland DHC2 on floats, registration C-FJBM,  was operating on a visual flight rules flight  from Lake Simard QC, towards a lake to 100 nautical miles east of Val-d ‘ Or. Passing overhead the airport Val d’Or, QC (CYVO), an engine problem (Pratt & Whitney Canada R-985) occurred. The pilot declared an emergency and made a landing on a reservoir  about 7 nm east of CYVO. There were no injuries and the aircraft suffered no damage.
