Smoke in the Cabin-Twice

Jan. 8/14-The SkyWest Airlines CRJ200, N975SW, was operating as flight SKW5530 from Winnipeg, MB (CYWG) to Denver, USA (KDEN). Immediately after takeoff, smoke was detected in the cabin. The flight crew advised ATC and returned to land without incident with ARFF standing by. There were no injuries to the people on board. Maintenance inspected the aircraft with no faults found. It was suspected that de-icing fluid from the pre-departure application had entered the aircraft’s environmental system causing the smoke. The aircraft was released to service but the aircraft returned to CYWG for the same reason on the subsequent departure (TSB report A14C0002).
