Comment:My first solo was amazing. There are few words to describe the feeling of being in control of a Cessna 152 all by myself! There was little time to enjoy it, though, because there is so much to do in the air! One moment distinctly stood out for me: I was holding short of the runway waiting to take off. A jet was taking off on another runway, and he wished me a good first solo over the radio! The ATC controllers were offering congratulations too. The aviation world is like a big family, and it’s such a small world.
