Dec. 31/15-The PZL-104 Wilga aircraft, registered as C-FAEM, with one pilot on board was returning from a local flight at St-Mathieu-de-Beloeil airport, QC (CSB3). Upon touchdown in a 15-20 knot crosswind, the aircraft bounced off the runway surface. The pilot then elected to land the aircraft in the grassy area adjacent to the runway fearing it was headed towards a nearby row of hangars. The aircraft was substantially damaged but the pilot was not injured.
