Feb. 18/14-The Chartright Air Canadair CL60 (C-GXPZ) was operating on a flight from Toronto LBPIA (CYYZ) to Reno-Tahoe Intl (KNRO). Prior to departure the aircraft had been de-iced with Type 1 and 4 fluids. During the takeoff roll the cabin and cockpit filled with smoke and the flight crew received a smoke alarm indication. The takeoff was aborted and the aircraft taxied off the runway and shut down. The main exit door was opened to dissipate the smoke with ARFF on scene. Maintenance could not replicate the discrepancy and concluded that a mixture of water and de-icing fluid had vaporized and entered the cabin through the bleed air system. The aircraft was returned to service.
