Air Canada – Airbus A320 – Disruptive Passenger – Flight Diverted

C-FGJI, an Airbus A320 aircraft operated by Air Canada, was conducting flight ACA172 from Edmonton Intl, AB (CYEG) to Toronto/Lester B. Pearson Intl, ON (CYYZ) with a crew of 5 and 126 passengers on board. While in cruise the aircraft was diverted to Winnipeg/James A. Richardson Intl, MB (CYWG) due to a disruptive passenger. The crew declared a PAN PAN and the aircraft landed safely.
The local authorities met the aircraft and removed the disruptive passenger.
The aircraft continued to CYYZ.
